E. Warren Davis wrote the Irly Bird series while on a mission trip in West Africa.  While lying in bed one morning, thinking and praying about the hunger he witnessed in the West African countries he pondered how he could help the children.  Shortly after lying down and giving it much consideration, he was awakened at about 4:00 a.m. by a rooster crowing just outside of his window.  As E. Warren wondered why this rooster was crowing so early and in the dark, he realized it was his wake-up call and the answer to his prayer.  He immediately began to write the Irly Bird series. His desire is for Irly Bird to become a tool to educate and help support children across the world. A portion of all the proceeds received from the series will go towards children’s issues in West Africa and across the globe.
